A soft-spoken Midwesterner who keeps himself amused with a dark imagination that tends to surprise even him. Wordplay, silliness, dad jokes, non-dad jokes, absurdity, and the occasional bit that wanders somewhere it probably shouldn’t…but ultimately we’re all (mostly) glad it did.

Let’s get weird
Mike Franke is a Cincinnati-based comedian who regularly performs at the city’s top independent venues — Commonwealth Comedy Club, Go Bananas, and Bombs Away! Comedy. Imagine someone with a philosophy degree co-writing jokes with the less-mature, high-school and/or grade school version of himself.
Looking for feature work at clubs. Able to work clean if needed, but like experimenting a bit during the late show. Also open to hosting, showcases, and festivals. I show up on time, I don’t run the light, and I’m low maintenance. 🫡
